Hi Guys,
For today, I'm going to review a new release product from the rebranded Careline and it's the Careline Matte Liquid Lipstick.
Let's dive into the review:
Packaging
Score: 4.5/5
I have no qualms whatsoever on the packaging...except it kind of looks like the Glossier one as well. Other than that, the quality is good as it comes with a sturdy plastic tube.
It has a doe foot applicator which is easy to glide on the lips. Take note that if you have dry lips though, you have to make sure that you scrub your lips first and apply a balm before using this so the application doesn't look patchy. I did not do that when I tested it and I have dry flaky lips and the lipstick just accentuated it so bad I have to remove it asap because I look horrible. :)) I did made sure that on my second try, I have scrubbed my lips and voila, the application was much much much better. :)
With any other liquid lipstick, please make sure that you don't apply too much as it will really feel sticky and tacky.
Price
Score: 5/5
The Introductory price is 190PHP which is less than 4 dollars so I say that this is a steal! It's so much affordable that I would recommend it to college girls or frugal/chupipay girls like me. :)) No need to comment so much because hands down this product is a bang for your buck indeed. :)
Formula
Score: 4/5
Formula is very creamy and it's easy to glide and apply on your lips but like any other matte lipstick, the formula is drying. I recommend again, to scrub your lips and apply lip balm before applying this so the application doesn't look patchy.

Longetivity
Score: 3/5
Reason for my low score is after eating, almost all the lipstick wore off. You may reapply the lipstick but I feel like it's too tacky after reapplication so what I do is I make sure that my lips are clean by washing it off and then reapply it again which is kind of a hassle because you should be able to reapply it without washing it off. If you're not eating though, application would last a long time say 6 hours or more. :)
Availability
Score: 5/5
Again a high score for this one because it's available everywhere. You can buy it at SM, Trinoma, Watsons and any Careline kiosk which is practically everywhere. :)
Overall Score: 4.3/5
With that, I would still highly recommend this product especially for beginners like me who are just starting to learn how to apply a liquid lippie. It's a cheap good product for starters and again for frugal girls like me. :))
Thanks for reading!
Have a nice day! :)
Ciao!

| Swatch Test: Brick'd on the right and Gotta Go on the left. Consistency is very creamy like your usual liquid lipstick. |
