Althea Korean Beauty Haul

8/13/2017

Hi Guys,

I know I haven't posted in a while, but I was actually waiting for a package that I want to share with you guys. I bought korean goodies from Althea last 2 weeks ago and I got it last Tuesday but work got in the way so I'm just posting it now during my free day. Sakto guys, so I can give also my first impressions sort of review on the products.

Disclaimer: This is not a sponsored post.

Yay for korean goodies! :)
I actually got impatient waiting for the goodies to arrive but the packaging makes up for it. It was in this sturdy pink box with crepe paper design on the inside. Products were safely secured in a bubble wrap which was removed already on the picture. I actually was searching for products to hydrate my face cause my skin is so dry lately. I randomly bought the goodies without doing any research but I did read the review section of the product on the site which is convenient (big thumbs up to Althea).

I'll be listing the products I bought down below with my first impressions on the product. Do take note that I have been using the products for less than a week only.

Etude House Wonder Pore Freshner

Price: 440 PHP (220ml)
I have a lot of big pores on my cheek area so even though this one's a bit pricey than my previous toner (which was the Celeteque Hydrating Toner), I bought it with high hopes that it will reduce my pores. One negative side I hate is it did smell a bit of alcohol which I really really tend to avoid as I have dry skin lately but in all fairness, it did not dry me up. I'm not seeing the reduction of pores yet but that's maybe because I haven't fully utilized the product yet.

Milky Dress Wrinkles & Whitening Eye Cream

Price: 210 PHP (15ml)
I have puffy dark circles on my eyes and I have no eye cream on my skincare routine but I did not want to try a high end eye cream yet so I'm testing the waters with this one. I bought it mainly because it's cheap and it has decent reviews on the Althea site. I did notice that the puffiness is less when I wake up but I don't see any difference on the dark circles.

It's Skin Power 10 Formula VC Effect

Price: 390PHP

Third product I bought was a serum type which is all the craze in korean skincare right now. I am suffering also from dark spots on my face which was a result of past acnes and I'm hoping this product would at least lighten this spots because I've tried a lot of products but my skin is very uncooperative. I also have a hard time removing those dark spots on my legs\from mosquito bites and whatnot because my skin is really sensitive and such. It did not lighten yet and I'm hoping it will but it did hydrate my face which was a plus for me.

The Choute Essence Fill Stick Balm Foundation

Price: 440 PHP (12g)

This one was a random spend because I was not planning on buying makeup. However, I was curious with stick foundations because they're easy to apply. As I'm a working girl, I have less time to do my makeup especially when running late. I love this because it's convenient and I even apply this while traveling. It has a brush on the other side as well so you won't have trouble applying the product on the go or not.

Bonus:
I also bought one product which was the Laneige Sleeping Water Pack/Mask thingy but I totally forgot to include it in. I bought it again due to my dry skin and the instructions says to use it twice a week. I love it because I really feel hydrated everytime I wake up using this product and would love to use it everyday but I'm scared it will break me out if I use it everyday so yes let's follow the instructions instead. :P

Last thoughts:
I love Althea as it's convenient and even has an app for you to use. I won't recommend it though if you want a product to arrive fast because the standard waiting time is 7-15 days. Their site though, has a wide variety of korean products you can choose from. :)

That's it for my Althea Haul! Thanks for reading. Have a nice day! :)

Ciao!
A.
